What Can Brighten Up A Sick Person’s Day?  A Gift Basket

People get sick all year round, from having the common cold to sometimes having surgery.  Either way, when that happens, they’re usually in bed trying to get some rest.  There’s no use in going to the office because the co-workers don’t want or need additional germs floating around.  Or the doctor said it would be a few weeks before you could be active again after the surgery.

So, since staying at home is the only option, people try to make the best of it.  Some people succeed, others don’t do so well.  They start to get bored and can’t do much of anything except watch television and talk on the phone.

Unbeknownst to them, the doorbell rings.  There’s a package that has to be signed for.  Actually, the infirmed person finds out that it’s a get well floral arrangement.  They’re delivered in a nice clear vase with Asiatic lilies.

In surprise and amazement, the person almost drops the arrangement, but manages to catch it.  They are forever grateful that someone has thought about them.

There are different floral arrangements that can be used as “get well soon” gesture:

  • A mixture of white daisies and pink lilies
  • Yellow roses with baby’s breath
  • Roses and carnations
  • Orchids mixed with a green plant
  • A bouquet of yellow roses

Add to that some “get well soon” balloons and you’ll have a happy camper!
If people know of others who are sick, they will try to get them something as soon as possible.  Flowers give that added touch to a sick person’s life.  Just having them see that basket makes their eyes light up and their demeanor change.  They appreciate the fact that someone took the time (and money) thinking about their well-being.
Ordering flowers online is a safe way to make sure that the recipient gets their floral arrangement.  It’s so easy, and they’re so many different arrangements to choose from.  There are smaller arrangements and larger ones.  It’s up to the buyer to choose what they want for that person.  Either way, there’s no doubt that the person will be elated.
People can pick from lots of different selections online.  They can see the beautiful samples in photos on the website.  Once the selection is made, they can enter their information, including method of payment.
Don’t forget to include a nice message.  If the arrangement is to be delivered the same day, the best thing to do is to order early in the day.  As with brick and mortar florists, online florists have deadlines as well.
It’s best to order the get well floral arrangement as soon as possible.  Because the person is sick and can’t get around, getting this arrangement would mean the world to them while they’re still cooped up.

Being sick and stuck at home or in the hospital is no picnic.  Just having that personal touch helps to soothe their minds.  They will be forever grateful that you thought about them in that way.
